The current owners of this 2 bedroom 1 bathroom unit in Tewantin on Queensland’s beautiful Sunshine Coast were lucky enough to purchase this home with an abundance of existing storage located in the attic.  At one point, the roof space of this unit has been transformed into a tidy and functional storage room, lined with gyprock walls and ceiling, including a small window and carpet floor coverings.

 For years these owners have been accessing this storage room via a ladder they regularly retrieve from the shed and lean against the vertical opening in the wall, in order to climb.  This method for regularly accessing such a fantastic storage room within their home is clearly not practical nor safe, especially considering they are often carrying bulky items up and down this ladder and like us all, the owners are not getting any younger.
